Hi, We’re Derek and Erica! We met at work in early 2019 and have been married for a year and a half now. Located in central Ohio, we pride ourselves on being incredibly hardworking, fun, and easygoing people. We both have a great sense of humor, and laughter often fills our home. Derek works for the United Parcel Service, and I am a training coordinator at a local restaurant corporation. Shortly after getting together, we found that we both have a huge passion for fitness. While Derek is an avid power lifter and strength trainer, Erica loves running and CrossFit. Whether we are hiking outside in nature or lifting weights in the garage, it is something that has not only connected our families but also strengthened us as a couple. (No pun intended) We are currently raising Derek’s 13-year-old son Breylan. He is very energetic and intelligent. His specialty is baseball but will play just about any sport with a ball. Most days of the week, you can find us all at one of his practices or activities. We love being his biggest cheerleaders and are often the loudest parents in the bleachers. We have always wanted to give Breylan a sibling(s), but we have struggled with infertility for a long time. As a family, we decided adoption was the best choice for all of us. We have so much love to offer, and in our hearts, we know our family is not yet complete.
