Hey there! We’re Trevor and Jamie from central Ohio. We want to thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about our family. Most of all, thank YOU! Having the courage and wisdom to choose adoption gives hope to adoptive parents like ourselves.
The past 7+ years have been filled with such joy, excitement, and love for us. It seems like just yesterday, but it feels as though we’ve known each other forever. We met in early 2017, moved in together 8 months later, bought a house, and were married in April 2020. We’ve always said we are the perfect compliments to one another and each day it continues to hold true. The desire to have a family was brought up from the very beginning. It was something we bonded over.
Our little, red-headed bundle of joy enriched our lives in September 2022 at just 6 weeks old. We loved her before we even met her. Our lives have been forever changed in all of the best ways since becoming her parents. Emerson is curious, sweet, determined, strong, and so loving. She loves to carry on conversations with the cats and pet the puppy dogs. We spend time as a family taking walks, traveling, playing, and watching Bluey. Oh, and LOTS of dancing! We are very thankful for the open adoption we have with our daughter’s birthparents. We just know that she is going to love being a big sister.
We know that this is a monumental choice for you and want to reassure you that, though we could never understand how truly difficult this decision must be, we hope that it comforting to know that your child will be loved and taken care of by a family who has dreamed of this gift for so long. We promise that they will be raised in a home full of love, understanding, an amazing support system of family and friends, along with plentiful opportunities to learn and grow together.
