WHAT WE OFFER

Lifelong Support and Assistance for Birth Mothers In All Stages

We understand that considering adoption can be a challenging journey. If you’re worried about how to put a child up for adoption, Open Arms Adoptions will be with you every step of the way to provide free and confidential support services.

Supporting You
with Financial Assistance

Pregnancy comes with unexpected costs. Ohio adoption laws permit us to offer up to $3,000 in financial assistance. It can cover your living expenses, transportation, medical bills not covered by insurance, and essential groceries. All our services are free, including counseling, legal assistance, and ongoing support.

Comprehensive Medical Care
for Your Well-Being

We prioritize birth mothers’ health and well-being, so we help you obtain Medicaid when possible. This assistance ensures that pregnancy-related expenses not covered by private insurance will still be taken care of.

Continuous Care and
Lifelong Support

Our dedicated team of social workers is available 24/7 to support you. Even after you’ve given birth, your social worker will continue to support you for as long as you need, offering long-term support crucial to your well-being.
Open Arms Adoptions will connect you with the resources you need to adjust to post-adoption life. We can also help you find support groups, educational opportunities, and other resources to help you achieve your personal goals and ensure your holistic well-being and development.

What is the
adoption process?

First, call or text Open Arms Adoptions at 330-697-4751

A social worker will be assigned to work with you and will be there during the entire process.

Choose a family

You will be shown profiles of families that are waiting to adopt. You can meet the family, ask questions and start getting to know them if that's something you'd like to do.

You are matched, now what?

Once you are matched with a family, you can grow your relationship with them. It’s up to you how much you interact and what that looks like.

Financial support

All our services for you are FREE. You are not responsible for any of the adoption expenses. You are also entitled to receive up to $3,000 in living expenses to help with rent, utilities, and groceries. Just let us know what you need.

At the hospital

We will work with you to decide how you'd like everything to go at the hospital—who can be there and who you want to take care of the baby. We'll communicate with the hospital to try to ensure everything goes smoothly for you.

After the hospital

You cannot sign any final paperwork until at least 72 hours after the baby is born. We will arrange for you to meet with an attorney for free to make sure all of your legal questions are answered, too. Your social worker will be available to you after your baby is adopted, too.

Hi, we’re Michael and Wally, welcome to our profile! We’re truly grateful for your time getting to know us through your screen and can’t wait for the chance to meet you in person. We are a true yin and yang couple. Michael is extroverted and always on the go with things to do, places and people to see. Wally is more of a free-spirited introvert who loves to spend time with friends and family and always down for a game night at home. Together, we love to travel the world, see shows, attend concerts, play summer sand volleyball, and spend time relaxing by our pool. We have two dogs, Ryka and Gretchen.
